1. About these terms These terms of use ("Terms") apply to your access to and use of techsnyper.com (the "Site") operated by TechSnyper ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page tells you when they were last revised. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms. 2. What TechSnyper is TechSnyper is a UK technology price-intelligence site. We collect publicly available pricing information from third-party retailers and present it alongside product information and market analysis to help you understand whether a price represents good value. We are not a retailer. We do not sell any of the products listed on the Site and we are not a party to any transaction between you and a retailer. 3. Pricing information — important Prices, stock availability, specifications and product information shown on the Site are: - gathered from third-party sources and may be out of date or incorrect; - shown for general information only and do not constitute an offer to sell, a recommendation, or financial or purchasing advice; - subject to change without notice. Always check the current price, availability, specifications and terms on the retailer's own website before making a purchase. We are not responsible for any decision you make based on information shown on the Site. 4. Affiliate links and third-party retailers Some links on the Site may be affiliate links, meaning we may receive a commission if you click through and make a purchase. This does not affect the price you pay. We do not let commercial relationships influence which prices or products we track. Any purchase you make from a retailer is a contract between you and that retailer, governed by the retailer's own terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the products, services, terms, delivery, returns, warranties or customer service of any retailer linked from the Site. 5. Acceptable use You agree not to: - use the Site in any way that breaks any law or regulation; - scrape, harvest, copy or systematically extract data from the Site for commercial purposes without our prior written permission; - interfere with, disrupt or place an unreasonable load on the Site or its infrastructure; - attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers, or any related systems; - introduce viruses, malware or any other harmful code; - use the Site to send spam or unsolicited communications; - misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or entity when contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms. 6. Accounts Most of the Site can be used without an account. Where accounts exist (for example, administrator accounts), you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account. Intellectual property The Site, including its design, text, graphics, logos, software and the way pricing and product data is presented, is owned by or licensed to TechSnyper and is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws. You may view, download and print pages from the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not otherwise copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our prior written permission. Product names, brand names, retailer names and logos referenced on the Site are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and informational purposes only. Their inclusion does not imply any endorsement of TechSnyper by those owners. 8. User-submitted content If you send us feedback, tips, suggestions or other content (for example, via the contact form), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content to operate and improve the Site. You confirm that any content you send us is your own and does not infringe anyone else's rights. We are not obliged to act on or respond to any submission. 9. Third-party services The Site relies on third-party services, including hosting and database infrastructure, email delivery, analytics (Google Analytics) and bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile). Their availability and performance is outside our control. The Site may also contain links to third-party websites; we are not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of those sites. 10. Availability We aim to keep the Site available, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend, withdraw, change or restrict all or part of the Site at any time without notice, including for maintenance, security or operational reasons. 11. Disclaimers The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all conditions, warranties and representations (express or implied) that might otherwise apply, including any implied warranty of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. In particular, we do not warrant that pricing or product information on the Site is accurate, current or complete. You rely on it at your own risk. 12. Limitation of liability Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for: - death or personal injury caused by our negligence; - fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or - any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under UK law. Subject to that, to the fullest extent permitted by law: - we will not be liable for any loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable when you used the Site; - we will not be liable for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, loss of opportunity, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss; and - our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site is limited to £100. The Site is provided for personal, non-commercial use. If you use the Site for any commercial purpose, we have no liability to you for any business losses. 13. Indemnity You agree to indemnify and hold TechSnyper harmless against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities and reasonable expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site, to the extent permitted by law. 14. Privacy Our Privacy & Cookies policy explains how we handle personal data collected through the Site. By using the Site you also agree to the Privacy & Cookies policy. 15. Governing law and jurisdiction These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim, except that if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you are using the Site as a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law. 16. General If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. 17.
